I was completely took by surprise!
Thank you so much to all of you, parents and children, for my favourite year of teaching yet.
Thank you so much for your generous gifts and your wonderful book, now I can never forget my favourite class! (not that I ever would)
I cannot put into words how proud I am of every single one of you.
Keep up the hard work, I’m sure you are going to amaze every teacher in Hillmorton Primary as you get older.
Mums and Dads, you have some wonderful children thank you for all of your support and time this year!
Have a great and well deserved break! See you all soon!
The walk to school gang had three invaders today Miss. Menzies, Mr. Bryant and Fred the Ted.
Keep it up boys and girls. A lovely idea to keep you all safe. Spread the word!
We were very lucky to be the first audience for the Year Six leavers performance today.
The scenery was great, the cast were funny, and the songs were catchy.
Some of the boys were even dressed as girls, would you believe it!!
The imagination of Reception was brilliant today!
To try and keep cool they boys and girls built their very own outdoor cinema. Popcorn and tickets were being sold and we enjoyed watching children perform Spongebob Squarepants 4D movies!
One of the best cinemas I have ever been to!
You really are spoiling me Reception!
Today we heard another two stories read by two children from our class!
I really do love to hear you all reading so beautifully.
We were treated to a book called “Really Really” read by Felix.
And a great book written my Michael Morpurgo read by our very own Orlando!
This afternoon we enjoyed a very mad lunch indeed. We had a plate full of delicious food thanks to Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Stewardson and Mrs. Clarke and also a great showcase of wonderful hats!
Even Fred was able to join in the fun with this mad hat Jessica kindly made for him!
…and enjoys a story being read to her for once!
Emilia was so brave today, she read two yes two stories aloud to the class that she had bought from home.
We enjoyed listening to ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘We’re going on a Bear hunt”
And superb reading it was too! Great job Emilia!
Today Reception children had the opportunity to design their very own fish. We used a cut out paper plate for the shape of the body and then had lots of choice of materials for how we might decorate it.
There were lots of weird and wonderful looking creatures!
Today we began making our mad hats for our picnic lunch on Wednesday. Bet you can’t wait to see what they look like!
Here’s a small clue.. it involves paint.
To relax and cool off from that blazing sun some of us opened up a little foot spa!
Soon customers were queuing out of the doors!
